The Center for Healthy Generations is a not-for-profit organization that exists to serve all generations of the community by providing support through exercise, activities and information to foster independence.

The Center features Aerobics, Basic and active warm water exercise, open water classes, preschool swim, Zumba.

Join the Activity Center. Take advantage of the medical equipment loan program and computer center and computer classes.

Participate in games, arts and crafts and exercise programs.

Special events, entertainment and classes are offered weekly.

April 2017 Announcements

The Center for Healthy Generations is negotiating to be the Silver Sneaker provider land exercise classes for our area. We are waiting for sign in & exercise equipment to come. If you attended the Silver Sneaker classes in the past, please give us your name, number, & email & we will notify you as soon as the classes begin.

Wednesday, April 12, there will be a Doterra Introduction to Essential Oils workshop held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Find out how these “original medicines” can help support your body naturally…with no side effects. This is a free class, and we hope you will come and find out more about this great product and how it can benefit you.

There will be a new Dog Training Class in basic obedience starting Thursday April 20 through May 25 from 4pm to 5pm. This is a force-free dog training, problem solving, & behavior education without intimidation. This class focuses on communication and basic obedience with leash work. Cost for the 6-week course is $55.00 (this is a huge discount in price) paid in advance. There is a maximum of 10 people. Please sign up as soon as possible to be able to attend.

The last meeting being held to discuss the fee increases that are starting May 1, will be held Friday, April 21 at 2pm. Please attend if you have any questions or concerns.

The Center is hosting a Spring/Mother’s Day craft faire on Saturday May 6 from 9 am to 2 pm. If you are interested in being a vendor, applications are available. There will be an introductory class to the law and court system presented by Joan Haselbauer. Joan is a retired attorney. She will be presenting, in a general way, where the law comes from, how it affects us in our daily lives, and how a case proceeds through the court system. She is open to discussion of other topics, but is NOT giving legal advice. There is a sign in sheet for the class here at the Center. The class will be held when enough people have signed up at which time we will contact you.
